Service Over Politics.
I love San Mateo. But loving our city doesn’t mean believing City Hall always gets everything right — sometimes leadership means asking difficult questions, and sometimes it simply means listening to residents before decisions get made.
I’m not a political insider. I’m a business executive, engineer, problem solver, community volunteer — and a neighbor who believes local government works best when it listens to the people it serves.
My approach to leadership began with my family.
Where I Come From
Humble Beginnings. Values That Last.
The son of Greek immigrants, I grew up in a working-class family where money was limited but expectations were high. My father worked as a custodian, and both of my parents cleaned homes to make ends meet.
They taught us some simple lessons:
Work hard. Stay humble. Help others. Never forget where you came from.
I worked through school to help my family — community college, then San Jose State for a Bachelor’s in Aeronautics, and later a Master of Science in Information Systems while building my career.
Professional Experience
40+ Years Solving Real-World Problems
I began my professional career at Lockheed Martin and went on to build more than four decades of experience in transportation, technology, engineering, infrastructure, and business leadership.
Today, I serve as a business executive and engineering leader of a technology company focused on helping cities solve complex transportation, traffic, parking, and infrastructure challenges.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with cities, counties, states, federal agencies, and private-sector organizations to develop and implement innovative transportation solutions.
My professional philosophy is straightforward:
Understand the problem. Ask tough questions. Use the facts. Build practical solutions. Measure the results.
City government doesn’t need more politics. It needs more problem solving — and that’s the approach I’ll bring to San Mateo City Hall.

I believe community service isn’t something that begins when you decide to run for office. For years, I’ve devoted my time and energy to helping San Mateo residents and neighborhoods. Because that’s what neighbors do.
